Application Process

Admission Process at Delexes

Choose a Program

Start by exploring our academic offerings across the College of Medical Education and College of Engineering and Technology:

Check Entry Requirements

Review the admission criteria based on your background:

  • WASSCE/SSSCE Holders

  • Diploma Applicants

  • Mature Students

  • GCE O/A-Level Candidates

  • Foreign Applicants

Each program has specific subject requirements and may involve a selection interview.

Obtain an Application Form

Application forms can be obtained:

  • Online via the Delexes website

  • In Person at the campus admissions office

  • Via Email request (contact: [email protected])

Complete and Submit Application

Fill out the form and attach required documents:

  • Academic transcripts/certificates

  • Birth certificate or national ID

  • Passport photos

  • Proof of payment (if applicable)

    Submit online, by email, or deliver in person to the Admissions Office.

Attend the Selection Interview (if required)

Shortlisted applicants — may be invited for a interview to assess aptitude and readiness if required.

Receive Admission Decision

Successful applicants will receive an admission letter with:

  • Program details

  • Fees and payment instructions

  • Orientation schedule

Confirm Enrollment

To secure your spot:

  • Pay the required fees

  • Submit proof of payment

  • Register for your first semester

Orientation & Matriculation

New students attend a welcome orientation to meet faculty, tour the campus, and prepare for academic life at Delexes.

Who Can Apply?

The Application Requirements

Applicants can be :

1. WASSCE / SSCE Applicants

Core Subjects Required:

  • English Language

  • Mathematics

  • Integrated Science

  • Social Studies

Electives:
You must have credit passes (A1–C6 or A–D) in three relevant elective subjects based on your program of choice.

 

Applicants with a diploma from a recognized institution (e.g., Diploma in Nursing or Health Sciences) must:

  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.00 or higher

  • Meet the core WASSCE/SSSCE requirements

  • Provide a transcript and diploma certificate

May be admitted into Level 200 or 300 based on assessment and a selection interview.

You may apply as a mature student if you:

  • Are 25 years or older at the time of application

  • Have relevant work or professional experience

  • Hold credit passes in English and Mathematics (WASSCE/SSSCE or equivalent)

  • Pass a Mature Entrance Exam 

Mature applicants for Nursing or Midwifery must also hold SRN, RMN, RM, RCN, or equivalent professional nursing credentials.

  • Must hold qualifications equivalent to WASSCE/SSSCE as verified by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC)

  • Must meet English proficiency requirements if applying from a non-English-speaking country

  • Must meet professional standards set by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (for health programs)

    • Completed application form

    • Passport-sized photos

    • Birth certificate or national ID

    • Academic transcripts and certificates

    • Application fee (if applicable)

    • Any program-specific tests or interviews
